I recently had the pleasure of photographing Kirsty and Chris' wedding at the beautiful rustic venue, Cardeeth. It was my first time at this location, and it quickly became a favourite. The weather was calm and perfect for their outdoor ceremony apart from a light quick passing shower.
Kirsty and Chris chose to stay on-site, giving us plenty of time to make use of the grounds for their photo session. Cardeeth offered a variety of stunning backdrops, from charming barns to lush gardens and paddocks. Each location added a unique touch to their wedding photos.
The ceremony itself was a highlight. Held outdoors, it was intimate and heartfelt. The natural surroundings added a simple elegance to the moment as the couple exchanged their vows under the open sky.
After the ceremony, we wandered the grounds for their portraits. The rustic charm of Cardeeth provided countless photo opportunities. One of my favourite spots was a line of beautiful trees, whose branches framed Kirsty and Chris perfectly.
Another great location was the wood stack, with it’s weathered wood and vintage feel. It offered a cozy setting for some of their portraits, adding a touch of rustic elegance to their collection. The soft light filtering through the leaves above created a warm and soft atmosphere. We could have used so many more back drops at the venue, we were spoilt for choice but on a time limit.
The day was filled with genuine smiles and joy. Kirsty and Chris were a pleasure to work with, their easygoing nature making the photo session smooth and enjoyable. It was a privilege to capture these moments and be a part of their special day.
Congratulations, Kirsty and Chris! Your wedding at Cardeeth was truly memorable, and I’m honored to have been part of it.
