There are weddings that stay with you – not just because of the golden sunlight or the beautiful venue, but because of the love, history, and personal touches that fill every moment. Chloe and Kyran’s wedding at The Cow Shed at Crug Glas was one of those days.
The morning began in Crosshands, where Chloe got ready at her grandparents’ house – a place rich with family memories. Her Nana and Gramps had lovingly prepared their garden especially for the big day, planting flowers and tending every detail so it would be perfect. One of the most touching moments was recreating a cherished family photograph: a portrait of Chloe standing in the very same spot her mum had stood on her own wedding day, decades before. Capturing that image – past and present linked in a single frame – was special.
Chloe, radiant in her gown, was joined by her bridesmaids, and together they travelled in style to Crug Glas in beautiful classic cars. It was the perfect nod to timeless elegance and added an extra layer of charm to their arrival.
Meanwhile, at The Cow Shed, Kyran stood waiting, nerves and excitement mingling as he chatted with his groomsmen. The sun was high in the sky, casting a warm glow over the wildflowers that surround the venue. When Chloe arrived, everything fell into place – her smile, his expression, the backdrop of blue skies, wood & glass.
The ceremony was heartfelt and full of joy. Laughter, tears, and proud glances from family members filled the barn as Chloe and Kyran said their vows. The Cow Shed’s blend of countryside character and laid-back elegance created the perfect setting for their celebration.
After the ceremony, the barn buzzed with energy as the newlyweds and their guests settled in for the speeches – and what a line-up it was. Chloe’s dad, Kyran’s uncle, and members of the bridal party all took to the mic, each bringing their own flavour of love, humour, and sentiment. Kyran's uncle had the room roaring with laughter after delivering a few old stories of Kyran. One of the groomsmen delievered cleverly written limerick. The barn was full of smiles and joy, and the atmosphere only grew warmer as the evening went on.
The food was absolutely delicious – comforting, elegant, and served with all the relaxed charm you’d expect from a countryside wedding. And the cake? A true showstopper. Designed by the bride herself, it was a beautiful mesh of Chloe and Kyran’s personalities, brought to life by a talented cake maker who turned her drawing into the sweetest reality.
As the sun dipped, the party kicked into full swing. The dance floor filled and everyone danced their hearts out – a proper celebration of a day that felt entirely, joyfully, and unmistakably them.
Congratulations, Chloe and Kyran – it was a privilege to witness and capture your love story. Your day was full of sunshine, laughter, and the kind of magic that only happens when two people are so clearly meant to be.
